As the founder of Thane City FC, Prashant J Singh has always been committed to developing grassroots football in India. He has successfully established programs in Delhi, Odisha, and Maharashtra that have produced talented players who have gone on to represent the state and the country at various levels. His appointment as the Head of Player Development for the AIFF is a testament to his dedication and hard work.
“I am honored to be appointed as the Head of Player Development for the AIFF. I believe that this is a great opportunity to contribute to the development of football in India and I am excited to work with the talented staff and coaches to help establish a strong pipeline of players for the National Teams across the age groups” said Prashant on his appointment.
In his new role, Prashant will work closely with coaches to plan the annual calendar of activities and will also work closely with National Team coaches from U13 to U20.
