Thane Footballers return after an exposure tour to Germany

Thane City FC’s young footballers have returned home after an inspiring trip to Germany, where they represented Team India and learned from the best football coaches in Bundesliga academies. The club celebrated the return of its eight selected players from both the U13 and U15 teams, marking a proud moment for football coaching in Thane.

Young Players Shine in Germany

Five U13 players – Pratham Mane, Madhur Nat, Darsh Lohar, Bhaven Choudhary, and Rohit Singh spent a week in Stuttgart from November 6-11, 2025. They trained with VfB Stuttgart Coaches and learned advanced football skills. The boys also enjoyed watching a live Bundesliga game between VfB Stuttgart and Augsburg, making unforgettable memories.

Thane Football Coaching in Germany

Three U15 players – Satyajeet Yadav, Darsh Shah, and Vignesh Nadar visited Darmstadt from October 30 to November 4, 2025. The U15s got a taste of professional training at Darmstadt FC and watched their exciting match against Arminia Bielefeld. They saw firsthand how top-level football is played in Germany, and returned with new ideas to improve their own game.

Proud Moments for Thane City FC

Prashant Singh, Founder and CEO of Thane City FC, accompanied the Under-13 players on this special journey. He shared, “Our boys showed great discipline and spirit. They trained hard, learned a lot, and made us all proud. This trip will help them grow as footballers and as confident young people. When they return to training, their new skills will help everyone at the club.” The players brought back many memories and learnings from intense training sessions with German coaches and exciting scenes at the Bundesliga stadiums. These memories will be shared with fellow club members and inspire more young footballers in Thane, Dombivli, and Navi Mumbai.

This international tour proves that talent from every part of India can reach world-class levels with dedication and good coaching. Thane City FC’s eight boys have set a new standard for youth football in the region. The club hopes their success story will encourage more partnerships with global football academies, opening new doors for future trips and learning opportunities.
